This video is something good. Spliff Hemingway is a native L.A. cat and has that a very real gold coast vibe to his slaps. The video is well put together. Simple shots and very crisp editing, the director deserves some props. Spliff pays homage to his Hemingway moniker with his crafted wordplay. Honestly, you can’t borrow the Hemingway name and not lace some articulate things together. ‘Mr. Hemingway’ is a single from the upcoming solo debut project “Water the LP”. If it’s any indication of the quality of the project, then everyone’s in for a treat. I’m looking forward to hearing more from Spliff Hemingway in the near future. This track should get a ton of play, shouts to @Knocksteady.
