During this interview we go over his eighth mixtape ‘We Aint Hurtin‘, his inspirations, fans, features, and how he feels about his recent move to the Sunny State of Florida.
NIKKISIIXX: If you were to look in the mirror. What would you tell the person in the reflection regarding your current circumstance with your music career.
B2DADOT: I would tell my reflection we have come so far, but there is still more work to be done.
NIKKISIIXX: On your mixtape ‘We Aint Hurtin’ you have two infamous features on it. Rick Ross and French Montana. How was it working with them? Did they give you any advice?
B2DADOT: The thing now with music is that everyone is so busy nowadays and touring and doing shows that it is hard to get in the studio with artist and create. So most of my bigger features get emailed to me.
NIKKISIIXX: What was your inspiration with your track PAIN IN A GLASS featuring Javonna?
B2DADOT: Pain In A Glass is kinda how I deal with life. Whether a long week, stress or whatever I always pour me up a drink (preferably Ciroc). Pain In A Glass was also the first record I ever opened up to my fans about my father committing suicide. It took me almost three years to put that on a record.
NIKKISIIXX: You were born and raised from Wilmington Delaware, and recently moved down to Miami, Florida. Any pros and cons to your relocation?
B2DADOT: Moving to Miami was way better for my career. Anyone who is someone in music, comes through Miami almost on the regular. So it was just a better overall move for me. Plus the weather is great. I think everyone is snowed in back in Delaware. Lol
NIKKISIIXX: You have about 19 Thousand Followers on Twitter? How does that make you feel? & how do you interact with you’re followers?
B2DADOT: It makes me feel great. I love my fans. They are very interactive on twitter. At the end of the day I am still a fan of music. So the things I wish artist did for the fans are things I try to implement with my fans & be as interactive as possible so even though we are miles away they can still feel apart of my day to day.
NIKKISIIXX: Any Last Words?
B2DADOT: Be on the lookout for my debut album entitled “Better Than Good”. Also download my single “She Bad” on itunes right now. Lastly, be on the lookout for my first book entitled “Priorites”.
