Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have hip-hop artists BreeZie & Phranchize with the first visual for their single COULDN’T WAIT featuring Philly’s own Dubby of Team Loko. The track becomes a feel-good anthem expressing getting through their struggles and enjoying life to the fullest. From the choices of locations of the video, it emphasizes the “from death to life” message and even “from struggle to success”. I find it to be more like “dealing with bad usually means something better will come along”. Visuals brought to you by Hued Productions. You can find COULDN’T WAIT on BreeZie & Phranchize EP entitled MixedTape. If you’re diggin the vibes on this one make sure you let em’ know.
Making his return on NikkiSiixx.com we have Pennsylvania Artist by the name of Dubby of Team LoKo, with his latest visual to his second single ORACLE ARENA. Off his recently released album Heart & Havoc. The album is definitely worth a listen, but lets get back to the track. ORACLE ARENA is a song of a love lost, with references to a bunch of basketball references. (Hence Basketball Location for Visual) Dubby expresses his anger knowing he lost a girl he was in love with due to his own stupidity. The visuals are simple and clean, while Dubby showcases his lyrics on the court. Make sure you keep an eye out on Dubby, he’s busy making moves like getting featured on The Source. Don’t forget to check out his album Heart & Havoc, I highly recommend it.
[PENNSYLVANIA] After releasing his highly anticipated first album HEART & HAVOC. Dubby brings his fans a big thank you with this free downloadable track BRACE 4 IMPACT. This single was originally supposed to be the fourth song on the album, but they decided not to include it since it musically didn’t fit in. But I’m glad he still released this track, anyway. BRACE 4 IMPACT features Suzii, and was produced by Diamond Style. One thing I really like about Dubby he collaborates with female singers that give a balance to the concept of the track. The track is about a relationship that didn’t work out due to the lies, back-stabbing, and assumptions. Their lifestyles made it impossible for them to reignite what was once there. What did you think about BRACE 4 IMPACT?
And don’t forget to support Dubby by getting the album!
You won’t regret it!
[SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA]Today’s the day, where Hip-Hop Artist Dubby of Team Loko debuts his long awaited album Heart & Havoc. The nine track project takes us deep within Dubby’s life. With just the first listen you know this is definitely a solid project. Through the last few months, we’ve been featuring Dubby with collaborative projects and now we see him on his own. With a help with features from Cal Mobley, M. Maggie, Semmi, and Choo Jackson.
My favorite tracks off of Heart And Havoc are Brother, Leading The Lost, Chase, Time Machine, Oracle Arena, Lemmi Know, and Loosen Up My Tie. I will be reviewing my favorite tracks and why they really stand out to me.
[01. BROTHER] This might be the most intense song I’ve heard in awhile. Dubby opens up about his closest friend who he saw like he’s brother, dealing with mental issues. He felt more he’s brother was dealing with demons because of how crazy it was. You can hear Dubby’s passion with his demeanor on BROTHER. I can visualize what Dubby went through, he has a way with words and how can you not see it.
[02. LEADING THE LOST] Dubby can also get melodic, which is not a bad thing at all. The track also features Cal Mobley. I like when these artist collaborate with one another. I find them to make some pretty dope music together. The concept behind this track that if your actions inspire one to become more, you are a leader.
[03. CHASE] I can say this one has to be my favorite tracks off of Heart And Havoc. The overall ambience it brings is so majestic. But besides this song is epic, you have to see the visual to it. And here it is:
See more of what I thought about the visual with my reaction to watching Dubby’s music video to CHASE:
[05. TIME MACHINE] This is really another favorite off the album. The track also features singer M. Maggie. I really like the vibe to this one. Dubby explains the concept of this track “you can never truly hide from life’s demons. They live inside you. You must fight“.
[06. ORACLE ARENA] Dubby discusses his fight with demons. Doing things he’s not supposed to, lying, cheating, pretty much up to no good. The message behind this track is our envy lasts longer than the happiness of those we envy. I really like his flow on this one.
[07. LEMMI KNOW] Featuring Semmi, this track would fit perfectly in a club/party scene. This track is filled with fast hard-hitting bars. The track embodies the If I Ride, We Ride.
[08. LOOSEN UP MY TIE] Times can get rough and you find yourself searching for an escape from reality. You might be able to get away for a little by finding the right outlet. This track features Choo Jackson. Here’s where Dubby’s lyrics brings us a visual to his story. And also the hook is catchy.
“This is the first time I’ve sold my music in 8 years. The last time was when I was pushing my mixtape for $5 in my high school hall way. The growth of the sound and the hustle have really paved the way for the TLA movement and I’m extremely proud and excited to finally have a project the exemplifies that growth. It’s been a long time coming.” -DUBBY
This concludes my review on Team Loko’s Dubby latest album Heart And Havoc. If you’re diggin’ Dubby’s Heart And Havoc Album, then you should definitely support the artist by getting your copy or stream it on Spotify. We got a new episode of Nikki Hears It First! Where I film my reaction to hearing a new track or watching a music video from an indie artist. This time on my sixth episode, I’m watching Hip-Hop Artist Dubby of Team Loko with his visual to his single “CHASE“. Take a look at what I thought about “CHASE” and I would love to hear what you guys think about the track/visual!
The Team Loko Movement is bringing us the latest visual release from Cal Mobley and Dubby, with ANTE MERIDIEM. Cal Mobley and Dubby both had separate collaborating tracks on each of their projects Medicine for Monsters and Heart & Havoc EP, it only made sense to unite forces and create a joint project. January 17th get set for the official release of their collaboration project with THE CLIMB EP. The Climb features some select producers including Canis Major who will be reoccurring on Dubby’s H&H project, Runaway Music, The Cratez, and Powell.
ANTE MERIDIEM is that late night tip type of song, when partying all night and see when morning comes up. The house party with masks was pretty dope! Love the shots and effects filmed by Bradley Atom, it fits perfectly with production by PØWELL. Be on the lookout from more new music from the Team Loko Movement with Cal Mobley and Dubby with The Climb EP.

[SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA] Dubby of Team Loko releases his latest single called ROWDY! Not crazy Rowdy, but more like a calm cool collect vibes. This track is meant to unite the 717 hip-hop scene with collaborating with Dutch Money. According to Dubby of Team Loko “I think anytime you bring multiple fan bases from the same town or city together through music, they appreciate each others music more whether that be fan to fan or artist to artist. I don’t know that it will fully unite the 717, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction“.
Lately, in Gettysburg hip-hop scene they’ve been working hard and it’s hard not to notice. Both representing Dubby’s hometown, this single is something to ride to and something that’s meant to be played at the club. ROWDY was produced by The Cratez. Very catchy hook, seems to stay on my mind. Be on the look out for what Team Loko Affiliates have in stored for Dubby’s release of his upcoming project Heart & Havoc.
Heart & Havoc is Dubby of Team Loko’s EP which is set to drop early spring on iTunes. There are a-lot of cool features on there including Choo Jackson who is part of Mac Miller’s Most Dope Label. Dutch Money and Dubby of Team Loko make some pretty fire music together, this collaboration is worth to see what else 717 has to offer.
[PENNSYLVANIA] Dubby is bringing that fuego 🔥 with his latest track PHAKE. A lot of lyrical content from Dubby of Team LoKo. He also maintains that super catchy melodies between his verses. Dubby dedicates PHAKE to all those phony little rap boys. According to Dubby “If you’re garbage, stop. You’re ruining it for the ones who really do this… sheesh“. PHAKE was produced by The TrendsetterZ. One thing I really like is Dubby’s capability to rap over any type of production. On the second verse he sounds like a completely different person, but it’s him. He’s able to switch his flow throughout the track. Be on the look out for more exclusives from Dubby!

[PENNSYLVANIA] Check out the latest single from Dubby of Team Loko with MONEY POOLS featuring the Detroit native, Wayne Chapo of Full Time Real (FTR). Inspired by a trap production by Scott Supreme from the UK. Last time we featured Dubby of Team Loko was when I featured his visuals for WELCOME TO THE SHOW, fresh off his Corpus Callosum mixtape. The collaboration between Dubby and Wayne Chapo mend well together. The overall vibe is straight krunk. MONEY POOLS can definitely be played at a club or crazy house party. || TWITTER || SOUNDCLOUD || YOUTUBE || INSTAGRAM ||
Attending a live show can really influence the listerner in becoming a true fan, just by you’re live performance. Dubby of Team Loko brings us his visuals for his latest release WELCOME TO THE SHOW, fresh off his Corpus Callosum mixtape. The video shows us how it’s exactly like when Dubby hits the stage. You can tell Dubby brings alot of energy into his performance and what about his project though? It’s definitely worth a listen. So far my favorite tracks from his mixtape are Room, Fixx, Vagabond, and of course Welcome To The Show! I find his music to be on another level. Starting with his choice on production to the concepts based right out of his actual life. Stay tuned for more from Dubby and don’t forget to download Corpus Callosum brought to you by an inspiring artist from a small town called Gettysburg.
Part of his 9 O’Clock Drop series (Week 5) Pennsylvania Hip-Hop Artist Dubby of Team Loko brings out KATNISS. If you’re not familiar with that name, it’s the main heroine from The Hunger Games. Dubby wanted to display he’s emotions towards talentless crooks in the game. Those getting recognized for their stupidity. Liked Dubby’s flow on the track.
Ya’ll so soft and ya bars like flocks
So while these rappers tending sheep, I tend to do it differently
I’ve been workin on my aim
And they say I brought the flame, come on
Ribs showing staying hungry in the game

Dubby of Team Loko has been staying busy since he created the 9 O’Clock Drop which began on October 1st and will continue throughout the month of October. Every Tuesday night Dubby will release new content either song or visual right at 9:00pm. Dubby’s first week showcased his visual of JESSE JAMES (MOST WANTED). I’m really feeling the production by Sinima Beats. It definitely gives off the old western bad boy vibe. Due to the fact, the track is based off the infamous outlaw Jesse James. Dubby stays descriptive and stays within the story.
Tumbleweed blown, six shooter and a sheriff badge
Circumstance, Jesse had the shotty and the contraband
Arrival in the west he was America’s most wanted man
Gun in hand, loved to shuffle Benji’s in a duffle bag
