After Caddy Pack’s GOOD mixtape release and her music video entitled KANYE, I decided to get to know Caddy Pack a little bit better. We discuss her collaboration with Waka Flocka Flame, being a female rapper in Germany, her cat obsession, and what’s in store for her in 2016.
NIKKISIIXX: What inspired your stage name Caddy Pack?
CADDY PACK: I came up with the name Caddy Pack when I first started rapping at the age of 14. Back then everyone was mentioning Cadillac cars in their songs and I thought Cadillac were so cool! So I changed the spelling a bit and kept Pack because that’s my last name and my stage name was set! Ever since that, I just stuck to it and never changed it.
NIKKISIIXX: What was the experience like working with Waka Flocka Flame on “I BET SHE GO” track?
CADDY PACK: A great experience! I have been able to open up for two of his shows in Germany and he’s such a cool guy. Opportunities like this mean a lot to me, they make me really thankful and motivate me to keep going.
NIKKISIIXX: Who do you think will appreciate your music?
CADDY PACK: I think anyone who likes to have a good time and party will enjoy my music. People that like hearing unusual beats for a change will appreciate because over the time, I’ve noticed my music is everything other than mainstream and kind of drifts off the typical “club bangers” you hear in clubs and the radio. But also especially women or female rappers, because we have a lot in common!
NIKKISIIXX: How’s the music scene out there in Germany?
CADDY PACK: Music with German lyrics has been getting more and more popular the last couple of years. Before that songs in German would barely be played or even made at all and mainly just the focus on music in English. What is very popular here is Pop, EDM and House/ Dance type of music. The most popular rappers played on the German radio are Pitbull, Flo Rida and Macklemore and singers like Adele, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are played a lot! The Music scene in the clubs are totally different than what is played on the radio. Depending on the club and the area music varies! For instance in northern Germany they play a lot of RnB and Old school Hip Hop in the clubs but in southern Germany they play real Rap and Trap music.
NIKKISIIXX: According to your Instagram, you’re a cat lover! Lovely Persian! Why did you choose a cat over a dog?
CADDY PACK: Yes my Persian cat Chocolate! He’s 10 years old and I’ve had him ever since he was a baby kitten! I chose a cat over a dog because I was 16 when I decided to get a pet. My mom wouldn’t allow a dog back then… Now that l’m moved out though, I still wouldn’t be able to have a dog because I wouldn’t have the time to take care of him as I work every day from morning to evenings. It would be sad having a dog that basically stays in the house all day… they need to be taken on walks and have enough time outside, run and all those things. So I simply don’t have the time to keep a dog since it requires much more time than having a cat.
NIKKISIIXX: After the success of your GOOD Mixtape? What is Caddy Pack currently working on?
CADDY PACK: I’ve recently worked on a song with my old guitar teacher Jan Lindqvist. He was recording an Album and asked me to be on one of his songs. His song is called “Here We Go” and its a typical blues song that I’ve added some rap onto. Sounds pretty cool and I’m always happy to try out new things and not just be glued to one music genre. It´ll be available in January 2016!
NIKKISIIXX: Your three goals for 2016:
CADDY PACK: 1. Release A New Mixtape 2. Perform in California 3. Meet great people/ Have New Opportunities
NIKKISIIXX: What would you say from your experience being a female rapper to help motivate other upcoming female rappers?
CADDY PACK: Never give up or let other people influence you in a bad way. I have had people try to tell me who to work with and what songs to preform or what songs to make. Always stick to what you truly want because that way you’ll be able to give 100% to everything you do! Be confident and authentic! Set a goal and keep it in mind, that always helps motivate! You don’t have to reduce yourself to sex or a sexy image, Missy Elliott is one of my biggest influences and she is really the best example of a hard working female rapper that made it with talent, creativity, and her overall very individual music and videos.
NIKKISIIXX: I’m really into the comic/geek world. Say if you had a super power and became a super hero. What would be your super power and what would be your super hero name? And would you be a Marvel or DC Comics Character?
CADDY PACK: Interesting question I’ve never been asked before! Of course I’d like to have as many powers as possible and its hard to choose! but if I had one super power it would be the ability to control the elements fire, water, air, earth. Something like Storm from X-Men would be cool! So in that case definitely a Marvel character overall I’m more of a Marvel fan! Its hard for me to think of a good name but maybe “Raven Snow” would be cool!
NIKKISIIXX: LAST WORDS
CADDY PACK: I really had fun with this interview and thank you for your time and interest! Thanks so much and have a great start in 2016! Stay tuned for new music and projects by following the links below.

As Caddy Pack makes her debut on NikkiSiixx with her visual to her lead single KANYE, I bring you an exclusive review on her GOOD Mixtape. The twelve track project presents us with different styles to Caddy Packs rhymes. She has the capability to rap fast and on beat. Caddy Pack’s GOOD Mixtape also has features from Waka Flocka Flame, Mello Charmillz, and Young KB. Caddy Pack has impeccable punchlines, that she presents her self with an innovative style to her flows. Caddy Pack should be considered a gem since its rare to find a female artist in her parts of the world. She is always opened to new ideas, especially when it comes to working with music producers from a different range of genres. Caddy Pack is able to write her own rhymes and you might even catch her singing a hook or two. My favorite tracks off the GOOD Mixtape are I Bet She Go, Money In My Pocket, Hustle Grind, Cookies and Bass, and KAYNE.
I BET SHE GO This track continues off the GOOD Intro. Caddy Pack brings that club-crunk vibe along side Atlanta Artist Waka Flocka Flame. She rips it with her fast rhymes while giving us something to bump to.
MONEY IN MY POCKET Is such a fun song! Caddy Pack goes in what she does with the money in her pocket. “IF I LIKE IT. THEN I ROCK IT. I GOT MONEY IN MY POCKET“..its super catchy. I even like how Caddy Pack adds the aggressive growl/roar to the hook. Who wouldn’t want to use their money on things that they want.
HUSTLE GRIND Caddy Pack was able to engage the trap sound that HUSTLE GRIND brings to the table. Also, on the track is with Switzerland Artist Mello Charmillz. I think they both should make more music together. I really like how the song came out as a whole.
COOKIES AND BASS Caddy Pack experiments in the world of EDM with the production that brings us some electronic sounds and some heavy bass. The electronic sounds remind me of an old arcade game sounds (8bit). Caddy Pack takes a witty approach with what she has to say. You can find the visual to this video on her youtube channel: CADDY PACK.
KAYNE represents the person you want to be, someone whose successful and truly believes in themselves. The Beat was produced by Tuny Chris and the video was directed by Marco Giglio. For the track KANYE, I find the hook to be very catchy! This song makes you feel unstoppable. This song is meant for the ones who are confident and are ready to take over the world. Watch now the music video for KAYNE via NikkiSiixx.
Surprisingly, Caddy Pack is only 4’9 Tall but she can fill a room with her energy. Which will leave a fascination with the audience. She gets hundreds of people to call and response to her and her songs even though many hear them for the first time. Until now she has had shows over all Germany and is ready for her international breakthrough. Be on the lookout, I’ll be doing an interview with Caddy Pack soon. And don’t forget to follow her on all her social media links.
Last decade’s favorite southern set of twins are back with help from an EDM production team that shares the same hometown. The Ying Yang Twins and Pyramid Scheme bring you their new collab titled “Thundercat”. This would have been a groundbreaking collaboration a few years ago, but in 2015 a Hip-Hop/EDM pairing has become less of a surprise but entertaining none the less. The twins don’t veer from the style that made them famous, complementing the Pyramid Scheme’s up-tempo, thunderous EDM production very well throughout the track. I must say, it feels good to hear the duo again, so if you feel like you need a jolt of EDM-Crunk in your system then this is the record for you.
Lately, the state of Florida is getting a lot of attention due to the Strange Behavior from Floridians. But you expect it more coming from our city. Recently Miami Hip-Hop/EDM artist Ramon Revere released his first visual after about a year hiatus. Ramon Revere seriously brought us this catchy track Strange Behavior! The mix of the two genres Hip-Hop/EDM fits perfectly with Ramon’s personality and lyrics. Also known as RevVv, him and his crew took over the Miami Bakery! Seriously, that plate of food looks fucking delicious! Love all the vivid colors from the entire video. Stay tuned for more from Ramon Revere! He even started a DAY IN THE LIFE Episode 1: I Love this Bakery S%@#. INSTAGRAM – TWITTER – WEBSITE – YOUTUBE
Dashius Clay is back with the video for his song “Go Home You’reDrunk”. The song has a beat that is ready for any club in South Florida. The lyrics are well thought out and catchy, I expect nothing less from Dashius who gave us great songs like “Hoes Love Rihanna” and “NoHo”. Dashius Clay did a great job of capturing the name of the song as he stagger walks through the video with his red cup in his hand. My favorite part of the song is definitely when he says “Party and Bullshit with Champagne and Molly/ My dress code is euro, Roberto Cavalli”. He seriously made this video look like one of the most fun drunken nights on the streets of Miami. Check out the video below and leave comment of what you think about it.
Check out 17 year old producer Schedule One with his exclusive multi-genre project featuring 10 hard hitting beats plus 5 bonus EDM tracks titled Existence Instrumentals. Schedule One has that Trap/Club feel to it. With them killer 808s! Definitely can see these tracks getting picked up by any artist. Existence features co-producers include Dizzy Wright’s Sub-Zer0 and South African producer Paapi Musik.
TRAP MUSIC incorporates a extensive use of multi-layered hard-lined and melodic synthesizers, crisp, grimy and rhythmic snares, deep 808 sub-bass kick drums, pitched down vocals, double-time, triple-time and similarly divided hi-hats, and a cinematic and symphonic utilization of string and keyboard instruments creating an overall dark, harsh, grim and bleak background feeling for the listener
Check out the latest beat tape from producer Messy Beatz with Shocked Phuture Vol. 1 His official second release for 2013. These 7 beats go hard with Trap/EDM style that Messy Beatz brings out. Having hard kicks, quick snappy snares, and fast hi hats! I can see this definitely bringing inspiration to artists who would want to write to these beats. The presence of the track is some type of a dark trance, that will keep the listener hypnotize.
Equipment / Weapons Of Choice:
Logic 9, Akai MPC Ren, M-Audio Oxygen Midi Keyboard, Plug-ins, Turntable and stacks of vinyl.
Messy Beatz has been featured on NikkiSiixx.com before. With another beat tape titled Donkey Kong Project. You gotta check it out! A little bit about Messy Beatz, he was born and raised in South London, and has been influenced by Motown, Soul, Hip Hop & Dance / Club classics while growing up.
As electronic dance music, better known as EDM, is on the rise as a global phenomena. So is the fusion of trap music and such electronic music. These two California based brothers are Hippie Sabotage. VACANTS beat tape is their fourth release. This astoundingly perfect fusion of trap and electronic tones will definitely put you in a turnt up mood. Be prepared for big bass, crazy samples, and LOUD drums. One of my favorite audio clips is definitely Flavor Flav’s “Yeaaaaaahhh booooooooooiiiiiiii!”
