[NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have hip-hop artist DaShawn Watson with his latest single SLIDE. This track is very refreshing! DaShawn Watson flow sounds crisp! The production reminds me of what Miami sounds like. What do you guys think about SLIDE by DaShawn Watson? Interested in more? SLIDE will be off his upcoming project called Don’t Be So Emotional, which DaShawn Watson is currently working on finalizing it. Stay tuned!
[CHATTANOOGA, TN] This will actually be AJB4 first official post on NikkiSiixx.com. He did make an appearance with his single I BE THAT, in a previous project review I did for Samurai Shin VS Xia-Dawn. This time we have my review on his latest album Organic Growth. But before I get into the review, lets get to know him a bit better.
Growing up with the church and traveling all over the world due to his father love for God and his strength being a chaplain in the military. In 2008 his cousin and himself started to create rap songs that showed their devotion for the church. Which later turned into something greater, the love to becoming a musician and perfecting his craft. Lets look eight years down the line, here’s where AJB4 has released six projects and he’s received radio play from various online radio stations like K107FMJamz, GospelSynergy Radio and QSJRadio.
Throughout the ten track album, AJB4 presents us with solid work. The tracks I felt that really stood out to me were Loaded, Figure It Out, Its On Me, Spam Musubi, and You Don’t Know. Here’s what I thought are Organic Growth.
[02. LOADED] I really wish AJB4 started the album with this track. It really grabs my attention. AJB4 comes loaded and locked, with God by his side he feels there’s no room for error. He fights for what he believes in. Melodic harmonies in the hook, its hard not to recite it.
[03. FIGURE IT OUT] AJB4 opens up his heart, to the one that befriended him. Even though there was something more but it ended up in the trash. Growing up and becoming a man, AJB4 knows what he wants. And won’t let anyone hurt him when it comes to love. This tracks production makes me want to move back and forth. Even feels trance-like.
[05. ITS ON ME] I find this to be my favorite track off Organic Growth. Who hasn’t experience a relationship where the other half expect perfection from you. Causing stress and unnecessary pressure in not messing up. Or for some reason everything is your fault. AJB4 expresses his lyrics with a sense of wittiness. Even when breaking down the second verse and how she flipped so fast like he never existed and blocking him out of her life. At least AJB4 admits to his messes.
[08. SPAM MUSUBI] AJB4 talks about a girl of interest, that feels could be the one for him. Meeting her online, developing a dating relationship, talking all the time, and having something he thinks is real from afar. Kinda like it’s too good to be true, but that didn’t work out. Decides to make a move on someone but later found out she was in a relationship. AJB4 is looking for someone who’s real and not fake! I really like AJB4 flow on this one.
[10. YOU DON’T KNOW] AJB4 has been through a lot of struggles. But regardless he looks up to God and here’s where he can strive for greatness. Even have a close death experience it hit him like a ton of bricks. Feeling free and going down the right path. Talking about his story, he hopes you can learn from his mistakes.
This concludes my album review of AJB4 Organic Growth, I broke down my favorite stand out tracks. Which tracks you felt were you’re favorite? Would love to hear what you have to say, just comment below or tweet me at @NikkiSiixx #OrganicGrowth !! [Monroe Country, PA] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have aspiring hip-hop artist Uncle TreY with two of his latest singles MOJO and JUST A SUMMER LOVE. This time I’ll be reviewing these tracks in this post. Both of these tracks can be found on Uncle TreY’s latest project nostalgianticipation, where you can find it available at ItsBetterThanMusic.com. Pretty dope that Gold Haze produced both of these tracks.
MOJO, is perfect for the summer time. Uncle TreY talks about how he got his confidence back. He tells us a story how things started and how it turns out, with a specific girl. And how they even try to come back in his life after so long of not communicating with them. The hook is catchy, and has me singing along.
SUMMER LOVE takes us back on a summer love he’s reminiscing about someone he hooked up with. Throughout the track Uncle TreY kinda focus on a specific listener, the one who he experienced that love affair with. Uncle TreY’s flow is on point and the content is very descriptive.
Do you have a favorite track from Uncle TreY? MOJO or JUST A SUMMER LOVE? Be on the lookout for more content from Monroe County Artist Uncle TreY by following him on all his social media links below:
[ATL+NC] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we got Hip-Hop Artist D. Anthony with his lyric visual to his ATLien (Georgia Peach). I thought this was a very innovative way to showcase his music and lyrics throughout the visual. From the production, to D. Anthony wittiness in the hook, this track becomes a favorite. Love the visuals to present his lyrics, Graphics by DapDesignz and Engineered by Absalute Robins. ATLien (Georgia Peach) is track 2/19 on his project Virgo Nation, which is now available on iTunes & Apple Music. Hard hitting beat produced by cocainetheproducer. If you like what you hear let D. Anthony know and support him by following him on all his social media links below.

[PENNSYLVANIA] After releasing his highly anticipated first album HEART & HAVOC. Dubby brings his fans a big thank you with this free downloadable track BRACE 4 IMPACT. This single was originally supposed to be the fourth song on the album, but they decided not to include it since it musically didn’t fit in. But I’m glad he still released this track, anyway. BRACE 4 IMPACT features Suzii, and was produced by Diamond Style. One thing I really like about Dubby he collaborates with female singers that give a balance to the concept of the track. The track is about a relationship that didn’t work out due to the lies, back-stabbing, and assumptions. Their lifestyles made it impossible for them to reignite what was once there. What did you think about BRACE 4 IMPACT?
And don’t forget to support Dubby by getting the album!
You won’t regret it!

[BRONX, NEW YORK] Making his return on NikkiSiixx.com, Jayomega has been non-stop over the last year. With a successful podcast series called “The Officially Street”, making it to episode 52. Also, the last time we featured some music from Jayomega was with It’s My Time single, and he opened up my compilation mixtape NETWERK VOL TEN with SANCTUARY PART II. And when I added him on the POLL: Who Sampled It Better? Kingdom Hearts Utada Hikaru – Sanctuary, in which he won on listeners choice.
Now, he brings us THE ESSENCE EP. The eight track ep is a great way to reintroduce himself to new/old listerners. Here’s what Jayomega had to say about his approach in creating this EP. “I miss the essence of hip hop. I miss the era of the late 90’s and early 2000’s when lyrics, content and conTEXT actually mattered. There was a time when you had to be about what you claimed you were, and you were only respected if you honored the competitive nature of the genre and EARNED your spot by rapping your ass off to get there. It hasn’t been that way in like 8 years, and so I did this EP for those fans/artist who miss that era as well”.
I’ll be reviewing my favorite tracks off the project. My favorite songs are What It Sound Like? Tell Me What You See, Sanctuary Part II, When Love Dies, Let Me Tell You Something, and First 48.
[WHAT IT SOUND LIKE?] I feel that Jayomega, is motivated to not give up. The Essence EP is Jayomega’s tenth independent project release. The voice that was sampled is from Eric Thomas, an inspirational hip-hop speaker. What they used, makes you want to move forward. The production reminds me of late 90’s New York hip-hop track, produced by Syer (Co-Host of The Offically Street Podcast).
[TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE] During the hook Jayomega wants you to close you’re eyes, and open your mind. What do you see? Jayomega takes you to what he’s mind sees. Living life to the fullest and keeping your head up. His flow on the track fits perfectly with the production by Lil BEZ.
[SANCTUARY PART II] Jayomega was inspired by the original song when he first heard it on the opening credits of “Kingdom Hearts 2”, a popular Disney inspired RPG that released for Playstation 2 in 2005. Jayomega originally released “Sanctuary” on his mixtape “Ready Set Go 2: Going Going Gone“, but could never fully promote it as it violated some copyright laws. Jayomega sent me the track and advised him he should really get to remaking that beat to generate the song. But instead of using the same lyrics, he went in. Jayomega’s flow meets the pace to Syer amazing production skills. This track will always be one of my favorites! And Shoutout to Jayomega for giving my site a shoutout at the beginning/end of the track.
[WHEN LOVE DIES] This track wow! It hit a nerve. But Jayomega’s story-telling of a love that ended. When that spark no longer existed and makes it difficult to continue with that person. You just have no emotion left what so ever. With this story, something wasn’t right from the start, but love falls heavy and it just doesn’t matter since you finally have this person. But then things get shady and sometimes relationships can’t last. Jayomega’s tone is sincere and makes you think its better to have a love that’s lost then not loving at all. Give love a try.
[LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING] What! This track goes hard! Jayomega brings that fuego on this one. His flow is fast and telling it like it is. Presence is strong with Jayomega. That heavy bass brings out the animal in Jayomega, production by Syer. Love the chemistry with these too. They can really make some dope music together.
[FIRST 48] Jayomega can’t wait any longer for Syer’s beat, its time for a freestyle. Well, more like an acapella… When Jayomega is ready in the studio, he’s filled with passion with his rhymes. Straight up BARS!
I find the eight track EP to be a good amount of songs for this project. Lately due to people’s attention span, usually long mixtapes of over 20 songs fall on deaf ears. Giving the listener enough to want some more. I thought Jayomega’s The Essence EP was a dope listen and solid with production choices and lyrical content. If you’re diggin Jayomega make sure show support listen to the project, follow him on all his social media outlets, and don’t forget to stay tune for more episodes of The Officially Street Podcast!
[NEW JERSEY] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have hip-hop artist Lewnati. He’s bringing us his latest music video ONE DAY. This is actually the first single off his third project “Poison In The Toothpaste“. The visual brings us some comedic relief. Lewnati is attractive to someone he wants to get to know. Day, After Day you see Lewnati making his way through a spot she frequents. You just have to wait for the end where it just gets crazy, but you have to see it for yourself. ONE DAY was directed by @konscFilmz. Be on the lookout for more content and make sure you follow him below.
[VENTURA COUNTY] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have Eric Metaphysical, better known as eMETA. Originally born in South Korea, eMETA was adopted by white parents. eMETA brings us his latest music video BULLETS. Being inspired by heavy sounding music, and showing more of a darker side. eMETA brings a heavy-metal, trap sounding track. I know this kind of music we usually don’t post but we do support the indie artist. If you’re diggin’ eMETA’s BULLETS visual, then make sure to check out all the links below:
[PATERSON, NEW JERSEY] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have St. Thomas an artist that can bring the elements of R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop Together. On his latest single SHE’S HEAVEN, he brings his soulful voice and creative lyrics to life on this one. Singing to his woman, and his dedication to her, that she has nothing to worry about. I love the hook, so melodic and trance like. If you’re feeling his vibe make sure to support ST. Thomas.

[SEATTLE, WA] Making his return on NikkiSiixx.com, we have hip-hop artist 40Groove who’s bringing us his latest single YOUR SPOT. Produced by Heartbeatz, this track really reminds me of an old school R&B track. 40Groove makes his way with his harmonies, but I do feel like he stands out more on his raps. Maintaining his productivity, 40Groove is on his way to releasing his third official album entitled “The Return of Saucy James” on August 11th! Stayed tuned for more from 40Groove!
[TORONTO] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have hip-hop artist KonFiiDent with his latest music video for his single SCHEMIN’. Nothing ends good when someone is scheming. KonFiiDent discusses the topic of envy and jealously. The video brings us a view from an outside perception of a relationship that seems all good until, the girl starts to become suspicious of KonFiiDent. Looking at his phone and putting it away and then she ends up finding an address. Only thinking of the worse she can’t help the curiosity and needs to confront KonFiiDent. I personally think the visual is too good to be this short! Be on the lookout for more content from Toronto’s own KonFiiDent. [FOLLOW HIM ON TWITTER]
[NEW JERSEY] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have a young artist by the name of Eddie Grand with his latest track LIVE FROM THE DIRT (REMIX) featuring Jase Harley and J.I Hudson. You can consider this to be an anthem for the people who love to smoke that sticky-icky. First Verse is Jase Harley, Second Verse is J.I. Hudson, and last but not least Eddie Grand finishing up the song. Also, Denny B on the chorus! Eddie Grand style and flow gives me the vibe that he doesn’t give a fuck! Really embodies that trap genre. What do you guys think about Eddie Grand remix track to LIVE FROM THE DIRT?
We got a new episode of Nikki Hears It First! Where I film my reaction to hearing a new track or watching a music video from an indie artist. This time on my sixth episode, I’m watching Hip-Hop Artist Dubby of Team Loko with his visual to his single “CHASE“. Take a look at what I thought about “CHASE” and I would love to hear what you guys think about the track/visual!
If Samurai Shin hasn’t marked its space in your memory vault, then it’s about time to! The upcoming independent comic book is setting itself off right with bringing us a soundtrack STAY ON POINT from Chill $quad, which will be on the Samurai Shin OST. Which is set to finally release this August! Jason Moore and Dpcity Profit brought together their lyrics and evolved into Chill $quad. One thing I really like about this track because of the nostalgia it brings me, really embodies old school hip-hop. If you’re diggin’ STAY ON POINT by Chill $quad you should definitely download it for FREE!
