The iLLustrious music recording artist, MeRCY, drops off his latest “Featured Presentation.” The album is full of guest appearances by Nature, Planet Asia, Skyzoo, Dave East, Havoc of Mobb Deep, and Sean Price just to name a few. “Featured Presentation” should keep his fans satisfied while we await the release of his new studio album this summer. This 10 track project is solid with the very first song “Charisma” being one of the stand outs. Make sure you follow MeRCY on Twitter.
[NEW YORK] After having Kojazz made his appearance on the NikkiJoMazing Couch, then releasing his Change The Subject EP, and constantly working with his other affiliates from the iLLustrious group. Currently, KoJazz released another collective project entitled the Jazz Daniels EP. The nine track EP is solely produced by Solidified. According to KoJazz “Journey through 30 minutes of liquored up tunes and cheers to good times sponsored by shots of good ol’ Jazz Daniels…Listen Responsibly”. And that’s what I’m planning on doing, I’ll be reviewing the project and pick out my favorite tracks.
[HONEY ON THE ROCKS] This track definitely sets the mood right and demonstrates a night of influence. Kojazz is setting the tone over this sweet Solidified beat. Kojazz is very descriptive and describes heading to a bar and fighting his demons. His flow lands perfectly with the beat.
[THE BREWERY] Kojazz collaborates with JuG the ILLEST and Rell Burgundy. This track sets the mood for the afterparty. Everyone has bars and I think its pretty dope there’s a Flash line hidden in the track. The hook is mad catchy! THE BREWERY can definitely be played at clubs I can sense the crowd to really be feeling this one.
[POUR DECISIONS INTERLUDE] After a night of binge drinking, you can only imagine the poor decisions you’ll make under the influence. One of them like driving under the influence. I really like the samples and skit at the end. Showing you the effects of driving drunk and getting pulled over.
[ALCOHOL POISONING] I feel like this is the climax track to the Jazz Daniels EP. Everyone on the track Christyle, MeRCY, and Kojazz get rowdy on this one. I really like Christyle’s verse, she’s brining it to the table.
[GENTLEMEN JAZZ] time to slow down the night and unwind with Kojazz and YoAmanduh. Even though Kojazz may seem tough but he can get romantic on the track. YoAmanduh brings that late night vibes with her sultry voice. Nice way to end the 30 minute journey.
This concludes my review on Kojazz’s Jazz Daniel’s EP. Shoutout to everyone who was apart of the project Solidified, Bishop, MeRCY, Rell Burgundy, JuG the ILLest, Christyle, & yoAmamduh. If you’re diggin’ the EP as much as I am, you gotta follow and stay in the loop with Kojazz.

When I read the title of this LP the first thing that came to mind was one of my favorite movies, New Jack City. As soon as I began to play “Can’t Take This From Me” I realized Bishop and MeRCY had a similar thought process. This 14 song project from the South Florida natives starts off strong with the vocals of Nino Brown & Cash Money Brothers saying their brotherly chant “Am I My Brother’s Keeper?” They lyrically start off with great stories on “Can’t Take This From Me” along with a tremendous chorus sang by Jahan Maria. Then on “iLLustrious Dons” they paint a picture that can resemble some of the most notorious black drug dealers. Track three entitled “YSL (Young Single Ladies) has a laid beat on which the fellas get to be a bit materialistic as they rap about young ladies & designer things.
“Digital Drugs” takes audio dope to a new level as Bishop and MeRCY kick trap shit over an electronic beat. Then they change up the mood of the listener with “Prisoner’s Paradise” which is more of a smooth track for the ladies. “Caine & Abel” truly plays on the album’s title and the well known story of Adam & Eve’s first 2 offspring. They ended the song with one of the most memorable parts from the movie Juice. On “Sunset Strip” they give you a visual stroll down sunset strip from their view. Track 8 titled “Life’s iLL” pays respect their team The iLLustrious. “Thief In The Night” is song about stealing a woman’s heart. “Sibling Rivalry” allows Bishop & MeRCY to show love to each other and talk about their differences over the past 10 years.
“The iLL Life” which is spit over the beat for “Luchini” by Camp Lo was used to spit about the good life. On the joint “Hello Kitty” they spit about sex without making it too obvious and vulgar. On “That’s On Everything” they just have spazzing on the track. “Skylines” is the come up anthem starting off with Tony Montana famous “The World Chico” speech to Manolo. Bishop & MeRCY rap about coming up and being about to watch the skyline of their city. Overall is a solid project that’s worth downloading.

Not too far from NikkiSiixx headquarters, is Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Equipped with a busy rap scene, today we bring you Mercy’s long awaited third installment of the Prelude series, Prelud3 EP. This fresh collection of eight tracks features collaborations with Ali Vegas, Skyzoo, Planet Asia and Tristate. Mercy kicks off his latest with an intro that is rich with the underground we crave, setting the tone for the EP. I personally enjoyed the joints, Neon Lights and Stratosphere. See for yourself, and prepare for The Prestige 3. Coming soon.
South Florida’s own Bishop and MeRCY started off the new year by dropping the first single from their upcoming collaborative project, “My Brother’s Keeper”. The single “skylines” was produced by @Solidified_ and starts off with one of the most memorable lines from Scarface. Bishop & MeRCY painted a picture. Of the rise from having nothing, to doing what is needed to make things happen.
The line that lingered in my head after the first listen was “every dark night (dark knight), we was robbin’ (robin)”. The chorus is a good interpretation of what goes on in the minds of most dreamers in big cities. Give this song a listen and be on the look out for “My Brother’s Keeper”, which is scheduled for a late March release.

Bishop and Mercy are working together on their forthcoming album My Brother’s Keeper and releasing their second song THIEF IN THE NIGHT. NEW MUSIC! The track was produced by BKS. Love the concept! Basically, it’s about stealing hearts. And unfortunately being taken advantage of.
I’m like a Thief in the night
Stealing your heart be gone by daylight
I’m like a Thief in the night
Rob your emotions I can’t play right
Everytime you hear the track you love it more and more. THIEF IN THE NIGHT is a great track. Bishop & Mercy make a great duo! Can’t wait for the next project My Brother’s Keeper dropping in the near future.

If your not familiar with Action Bronson then you gotta watch my recap footage from back in 2/24/12 when he performed at Club Eve. His set is so dope, I had such a great time at his last show.
Check out the secret stash that The Coalition has been hiding from us! SALUTE ME features MeRCY, SIN, and Christyle. The Coalition was a group that consisted of MeRCY, SIN, Platini, Chief Tone & Christyle. Production from ExhibitionZ. Even though the group didn’t stay together we still have this dope track to listen to. Each artists individually has a lot of talent, which gives this track life.
Check out the recap footage from ArtMoreraTV regarding the Dunkxchange at Passion’s Hardrock cafe. Art Morera, Mercy, Bishop, and others opened up for Maybach Music’s own Stalley. I’ve personally never been to a DXC before and it was amazing. The concept for everyone to bring in their Dunks and Jordan’s to either Trade, Sell, or Buy. The age range went from 8 year olds to their late 40’s. I’ve never seen so many shoes in my life! Pretty impressive. I also had the opportunity to meet Stalley.
Check out the second visual off of Mercy album The Prestige 2, Lord Have Mercy. This track should sound familiar since it was featured on NETWERK VOL SIIXX. The video mimics the post apocalyptic look of ‘The Book of Eli’, I’ve watched movie before and it does give off this feel. Zino Productions did an amazing job directing and producing this beat.
