[DELAWARE] If you’re the type of person that relies on someone to provide you you’re substances… This is the track that you can relate to. Considering the times when these sources can be unreliable when you need them the most. Rex The Rager expresses his frustrations with his pass experiences on his recent track entitled PACMAN. The track sounds amazing, produced by Prince Ali. Rex The Rager is melodic, but yet packs a punch with his delivery. Rex The Rager expresses the frustrations on waiting for some work and they say in 20 minutes but in reality its 2 hours? Rex is on the search for the right PACMAN.
[DMV – DC AREA] Ode Tha Hustla goes on his take of POPPIN by Rico Richie and created his own freestyle to it. Ode Tha Hustla embodies the trap lifestyle by presenting the people hating on him cause they don’t got their money situations taken care of and the means of how he earns his money. Throughout the visual you see Ode Tha Hustla counting money, smoking blunts, performing on stage at what looks like Block Party, and seating in the passenger side of a convertible. POPPIN FREESTYLE was shot and edited by the visual Powerhouse @Muhammad_flylee. It was impossible for Ode Tha Hustla to pass on this beat because of how dope it sounded. With Rico Richie’s track he goes in how you need haters to know you’re doing something right. I feel Ode’s is more catchy than Rico’s. Currently, Ode Tha Hustla is working on his mixtape Sellin Dreams which is set to release the first quarter next year (2016). But in the meantime, he set to release his original single title MO MONEY. [LINKS] TWITTER || INSTAGRAM || SOUNDCLOUD ||
This new visual from Loyal Duce featuring the homie Fameschool Telli is the video for you if you are looking for a quick dose of finesse in your system. Representing Bed-Stuy, Loyal Duce is using his city for a back drop as well as his playground. Money, women, drinks, drugs are the tools of use you’ll see throughout the video as from shot to shot the finesse’n taking place never lacks. If you’re not too distracted by the party favors, you may notice a couple cameos such as Manolo Rose (Run Ricky Run) and another towards the video’s conclusion that I’ll let you find for yourself. With the backing of Fools Gold and his affiliations of the Fame School/ Concrete Rose camps, Loyal Duce could be a name we have to get used to seeing. If he keeps the finesse up, it’ll be great to watch. [LINKS] SOUNDCLOUD || TWITTER || INSTAGRAM ||
While musical unity seems apparent in various areas of the country, I must say I am growing to appreciate a movement that’s forming in the midwest. Chicago and its surrounding areas are buzzing with extremely dope artists and seldom do these folks get the shine they most definitely deserve. Just the other day, I tweeted my dudes Neak and Slot-A telling them that I really liked a new record they sent me. But there was a new voice, that I didn’t recognize. Allow me to introduce Sincerely Yours.
Hailing from Oak Park, IL, Sincerely Yours dropped off this crazy statement track featuring my aforementioned dynamic homie duo, Neak and Slot-A. Neak rocks the hook then laces us with the first verse, setting the tone of the story. Sincerely Yours, takes it to the next level, then Slot-A, who also produced the track, comes in with the finale. They simply hope to be truly understood. I’m sure we all feel like that sometimes.
Turn the volume up, and let this ring off. Warning, immediate two stepping may take place.
Want more where this came from? Head on over to our good friends at DJBooth.net to download Sincerely Yours’ latest effort, the self-titled, Sincerely Yours.
Long Island newcomer, King Myers enlists the assistance of Fred The Godson for this party anthem, We Gon’ Party. This gives me a vibe that reminds me of a back in the day Fabolous. This club ready smash should definitely be in rotation at house parties, if not small clubs in the Long Island/NYC area. I’ll sum up what they talk about, popping bottles, bagging models and partying. What is there not to love? And we have the clean version, pshhhh. King Myers is letting us know he’s here to party, and the Godson is coming with him. We can only hope a visual is in the works for this one. Press play, add this to the iPod and make sure you blast this on the way to the next party. Turn up.
