[CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com we have upcoming hip-hop artist and producer Chughey. He’s bringing up his single GERONIMO. In which Chughey wrote, performed, and produced himself. On his latest track, I really like Chughey’s flow and presence on it. Hook is catchy and makes you want to learn the lyrics in order to rap along. From the production to overall vibe from GERONIMO this is a dope track. If you like this track as much as I do, make sure you check out his Facebook for more details.
Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com we have hip-hop producer all the way from London. Representing the United Kingdom, Simon Jr incorporates his unique producing methods and creates some dope hip-hop influenced beats. Simon Jr brings us his latest beat tape which is called “follow me on myspace“, the twenty-two minute project definitely keeps you listening. You gotta bob you head to this one. I know if I was a rapper I would most likely recite my lyrics over Simon Jr’s beats. You find some familiar samples from classic tracks and Simon Jr knows how to flip tracks. When creating music, Simon Jr has fun and loves representing his style. If you’re diggin’ Simon Jr’s beats as much as I do, make sure you support the UK Producer by following him on all his social media links below:
[GRAND RAPIDS, MI] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com we have After Party a multi-creative person with the skills in creating beats and reciting his stories. His latest release is his single FLIGHT TO TENNESSEE. One thing I really like about After Pxrty is his flow and overall tone on the this track. After Pxrty has made his presence visible on iTunes Charts in sixteen different countries. FLIGHT TO TENNESSEE is from his new project entitled East Grand Rapids Yacht Club LP. Be on the look out from more dope content from After Pxrty.
[CHICAGO] Making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have rapper/producer Jelani Lateef with his latest visual to his single DREAMS. You can find this track on his album Paper vs Passion. With DREAMS, Jelani Lateef expresses insightful lyricism. He showcases to the listener, he’s not just your ordinary rapper. During the visual you see Jelani recite his passed experiences dealing with depression, not acting right, and finally getting his life together for the better. I really like the hook, it’s a female vocal being catchy and harmonic. If you like DREAMS let Jelani Lateef know by sending him a tweet and don’t forget to follow @jaylateef.
Making his return on NikkiSiixx.com we have South Florida artist, 6 Cardinal. This time he brings us his latest album entitled FLOURISH. 6 Cardinal is not your ordinary artist, he also makes original beats and writes his own lyrics. During the creation of FLOURISH 6 Cardinal flew from South Florida to Brooklyn for a few days with hopes to capture New York City’s ambience and his creative chemistry with Ace in one collection of songs created from scratch. And after the first listen of FLOURISH you can definitely feel 6’s inspiration.
FLOURISH represents 6 Cardinal’s journey back to his musical roots. On the production side, FLOURISH forgoes the electronic-influenced production heard in his recent output in favor of the soulful and sample-heavy brand of production marking his earlier projects, which is provided by 6’s longtime friend, collaborator, and Brooklyn-based boom-bap maestro Ace Fayce.
For my review, I’ll be breaking down my favorite tracks. FLOURISH has a total of eight tracks. The ones that really stood out to me are The Name pt. IV, Ring The Alarm, Nine2Five, Royals, LuvJawn, and Outro. So let’s get this review underway.
[THE NAME PT. IV] Starting it out with straight BARS! 6 Cardinal keeps he’s lyrical content fresh! 6 stays on beat and really emphasizes old school hip-hop with his choice in production. Even though the track is only 2:32, it leaves the listener wanting more.
[RING THE ALARM] Word is bond! 6 Cardinal paints a vivid picture with his lyrics, line after line. You gotta nod your head to this one. One line that caught my attention was “Sicker than the flu, Ah-chu! You infected now“.
[NINE2FIVE] This is one of my favorite tracks off the album. How can you not relate? Working that 9 to 5 that drains you from what you really want to do. Its like you’re falling down a bottomless pit that same thing over and over, which sounds extremely exhausting. The production on this track is overall so beautiful. Very delicate, but still has the elements of a hip-hop track.
[ROYALS] I find 6 Cardinal fits perfectly with old-school hip-hop production. He sounds on point and his flow is too. The subject of this track is drug use. And what a perfect display of it with his first music video from FLOURISH. The visual artwork and art direction was created by Sean Walton. Love the visual really puts you on a psychedelic trip. But I do have to say I feel this track was a bit short, so gives us more 6 Cardinal!
[LUVJAWN] 6 Cardinal opens up and talks about LOVE. He talks about all the little moments that he truly cherishes. He even touches base on some intimate moments as well. His hook was inspired by Lil Kim and Notorious B.I.G – Crush On You. But made it his own.
[OUTRO] The overall feeling on this track is so positive. From the production and 6 Cardinal realness, this track kinda gives me those summer time vibes. I really like the auto-tuned chipmunk voice for the hook. “Keep the mind so open“. Great way to end the project.
“Flourish in immortal youth, Unhurt amidst the wars of elements, The wrecks of matter, and the crush of worlds.” – Joseph Addison
This concludes my review on 6 Cardinal’s FLOURISH Album. Overall the project was a great listen. 6 Cardinal really embodies the roots of hip-hop with his stellar performance on FLOURISH. If you’re diggin’ the project as much as I am. Make sure to let 6 Cardinal know! Show your support by following him on all his social media links below:

Scott Verity is dedicated to his journey and will be releasing a weekly offering from a visual to his blog and a beat tape to go with it. Expect the new-new every Friday. Take a look at Episode One: (This episode also inspired Committed to Consistency)
[MEAL TICKET] One thing I really like about this beat, is giving me the sense of old school O-Town vibes. Southern hospitality at it’s finest. I can see the likes of Curren$y rapping to this. This beat definitely has some good vibrations on this.
[TWO FORTY-ONE AM] This beat for some reason reminds me of the Dave Chapelle show. When he’ll walk out on stage… The beat provides those night time vibes, I can see Wiz Khalifa rapping to this one. I really like the sound of flute, gives it a bit of foreign style to it.
[WEAKEST LINK] This beat comes with the heavy bass and soft tones. It’s a beat thats bit on the slow paced. I found it hard to pick up who would fit great with this beat, but that doesn’t mean this beat wouldn’t fit anyone.
Committed to Consistency is available for download at www.scoutveritybeats.com/freebeattape. This concludes my review on Scott Verity’s Committed to Consistency Beat Tape. What would be your favorite beat off this beat tape? For me, my favorite has to be MEAL TICKET. [ALLENTOWN, PA] Making his first debut on NikkiSiixx.com, we have rapper/singer/producer Samuel Belman with his rendition of Lil Uzi Vert YOU WAS RIGHT (REMIX). After releasing his first concept EP titled Abundance. Samuel Belman focuses on perfecting his craft and enlightens the listener with his drive for self-development. On YOU WAS RIGHT (REMIX) Samuel needed to actually try to rap slow to fit the beat. What really makes Samuel Belman happy is being able to create music. He’s point of the view of the song reflects that. With work they focus on you to work hard, instead of just finding a piece of happiness. The track was mixed and mastered by Chase Y’s. What do you guys think about Samuel Belman’s take on Lil Uzi Vert YOU WAS RIGHT?

21 year old producer Anson was inspired by Mike Posner and he’s own remix and brought us I TOOK A PILL IN IBZIA. As soon as Anson heard @conormaynard cover to this, he knew he needed to add some tropical vibes to it. I’ve heard this track over and over, probably about 15 times. [BROOKLYN, NY] Making her debut on NikkiSiixx.com, VIIK brings us her latest visuals to PAPER/PAPER REMIX. The singer/songwriter/producer delivers a mix of electronic, hip-hop, dub reggae and even some trap elements. VIIK goals is to promote semi-conscious lyrics with beats to make you bounce. You definitely have to on this record!
According to VIIK: “Paper” is a satirical yet playful hip-hoppy reggae banger about the power of the “almighty dollar” and the grip it has on society. There’s so much chaos in the world yet we are all distracted by our daily quest for the cash. It keeps a lot of the population from becoming aware and finding their purpose. And on top of that as a human of color, racism and systematic oppression is still alive.
PAPER/PAPER REMIX brings us some funky psychedelic visuals. I really like VIIK goth/edm look with the hot pink dreads, pink eyebrows, and everything leather. Her voice in kind and delivers a powerful message. Its time to get that paper. Follow VIIK via her Twitter Account @VIIK_WORLD and get updated on new content!

[MIAMI, FLORIDA] After making his debut on NikkiSiixx.com with his music video DON’T TURN AROUND, GiZMO TAiLz brings us his first solo project MuGiWara EP.
If you’re not to familiar with what a Mugiwara is, it’s actually means Straw hat. GiZMO TAiLz is an artist, director, editor, producer, and engineer. He’s even 1/2 Member of The Creative Duo RASKLz [PIZZV.LORDz]. This is not just your regular thirteen track EP. It would be safe to say it’s more like a dark experiment with house/techno with a dash of some hip-hop. You can say it’s an unfound sound in today’s music. For my review I’m going to break down my favorite tracks off the MugiWara EP, which are MuGiWara Awaken, UV RAY, Take Control, Don’t Turn Around, 6GOLDZ, Su-Zen-B [Heal], and Voyage [Filler].
UV RAY // MuGiWara Awaken have a visual along side the tracks. The tracks are really an introduction to thus the style and vibe GiZMO TAiLz demonstrates. In the Music Film, GiZMO has a very unknown and strange power, and a love for pizza. The video is extremely trippy, but cool in a sense. Inspired by anime Video Games And Real Life Situations. The Young PIZZVLORD Looks For a quick “Slice” and what new Powers he’s Awaken Between The 2D And Real World. As Gizmo Falls Into A Tranced State, his visions are becoming powered. Now on a mission to create a New Wave. Did he really find a ForBidden Pizzv Crest? Directed and Edited by GiZMO himself, and Fimed Co. Directed By eqobKING.
TAKE CONTROL – The vibes on this one remind me of Kid Cudi’s Man on The Moon: The End of Day. “Let The Music Take Control” is repeated throughout the track with some melodies. In a sense it’s kinda like putting you in a trance.
This ain’t your ordinary music video, this visual definitely grabs the title for unique and dope graphics. GiZMO TAiLz is an inspiring artist that creates music in many different forms of hip-hop and can tap into alternative house genres. His visual DON’T TURN AROUND begins at the start of a retro fighting video game that eventually turns into a real life ninja, who is set to get The Pizzv Crest. GiZMO TAiLz transforms into Ninja Formation and Fights Dragoro. The visual also takes place at this years Florida Supercon 2k15. DON’T TURN AROUND is a music video like no other and definitely sounds like something new. Gamers can enjoy this visual too.
6GOLDZ – Considering GiZMO TAiLz self-produced the entire project, you can find some really catchy melodies. I found it on this track 6GOLDZ. Very simple, but when he starts rapping about his 6 gold teeth, it goes really well on beat.
Su-Zen-B [Heal] Even though this track is only instrumentals you can really dig this clubby vibe, GiZMO is trying to bring to the table. Another good instrumental is Voyage [Filler]. If I was an artist, I would be interested in seeing about working on getting production from GiZMO TAiLz.
This concludes my EP Review of MugiWara by GiZMO TAiLz. If you’re diggin’ the project you should definitely support the artist via Bandcamp. Be on the lookout for more content from GiZMO TAiLz by following him on his social media:

[ATLANTA, GEORGIA] For an artist it might be difficult to obtain your own beats to bring your words to life. So you gotta take matters into your own hands. For Sage BLOke, better known as SgBlk has embrace the production side to music and has created a beat tape entitled huez. The six track beat tape is definitely a piece of art. The vibes of the project presents itself, like the sounds are painting a vivid picture with various colors.
According to SgBLk “This project takes on the concept that music infects emotions, but in fact it can provide a gateway to images that normally can’t be seen in everyday life. Colors and music go hand and hand; they both express moods and give a sense of individuality“. He also added a sampled voice that makes his way through the tape and it really fits in, he says some pretty enlightening stuff. As vivid hue sounds it can keep your attention through it’s 11 minute 45 second journey of SgBLk perception of huez through sound.
