With the intense mid-season finale from creators of The Walking Dead like Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard; it was also developed for television by Frank Darabont and is executive produced by Kirkman, David Alpert, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Tom Luse, and Gale Anne Hurd. Here’s a sneak peak into what’s coming up for the crew this February 8th, 2015.
During the beginning of season 5. Rick, Daryl, Glenn, and Bob were closed to their deaths when they were captured by Terminus. But luckily for Carol’s fast thinking she was able to cause a distraction that led Rick into getting the upper hand and saving the rest of the gang; Michonne, Carl, Maggie, Abraham, Eugene, Tara, Sasha, and Rosita. When they return to the spot where they left their weapons, Rick wants to go back and killed them all. Everyone opposed because since they got away and Terminus was burning down there was no point in going back and risking their lives. Rick was really determined to go back because he doesn’t want another Herschel situation to happen when the Governor executed him in front of the prison.
All of a sudden Daryl looks away and he notices Carol in the distance. She reunites Rick with his baby daughter Little Ass Kicker (Name Given By Daryl). Tyrese was tried by one of the Terminus members and revealed to Carol he had to do what he needed to do.
As the crew carries on they come across someone yelling for help. Carl is ready to help but, Rick is a bit more cautious when it comes to entering a new scenario. They find a priest who was surrounded by Walkers. They come and save him. While Rick asks him main questions when meeting someone new. The preacher reveals he’s never killed a walker and that his sins were to remain with him and with God. Michonne changes the topic to back where he mentioned he had a Church. They leave to make base at the Church.
They then go on a supply run. Where they ended up having to go down to a flooded basement, where there was bloated walkers. Trying to barricade themselves with the shelves, Father Gabriel Stokes panics and almost gets everyone killed because he was trying to get away from one Walker in specifically. In which it led Rick to believe he knew her before she was turned. When they think its over Bob suddenly gets taking under water. Sasha comes and saves him.
When heading back to the Church with carts filled with supplies, they decide to celebrate that night. Bob was observing everyone and gives Sasha a few kisses and then went outside to keep watch. But during his watch he seems really emotional, crying, not really sure why but then all of a sudden he gets knocked out by someone. And that someone was the ringleader of Terminus of Gareth.
Gareth brings Bob back to the elementary school where he is awaken and in a daze. Looking up and noticing Gareth right above him. While Gareth gives him a speech about how he’s out to survive because of them and he has to take away from him. In which they took his leg, cooked it in the pit of fire, and eat it right in front of his face. While Bob freaks out and just watches them eat pieces of him. He later reveals to them that he was bitten and he’s meat is tainted! What an amazing way to switch up the power movement. Gareth thinking he owned that moment and little did he know Bob had the upper hand or foot.
Meanwhile Carol was confused on whether or not she wanted to stay with the group. Daryl finds her and they talk briefly. Then Daryl notices in the background that the same car that took Beth. Daryl breaks his taillights and then they follow. Trying to get the upper hand and finding their location. Once they do they can figure out a way to save Beth from the hospital.
There is so much more that happens I can’t keep you here with more details. But I do recommend you to catch up with the season and for the ones who haven’t seen The Walking Dead yet I say do so now and be ready for it’s epic conclusion for Season Five. And remind you The Walking Dead beat Sunday Night Football ratings during its entire airing of the show. Congratulations to everyone who was apart of the process in making such an amazing show. Can’t wait for February 8th, 2015!!!
