2015 has been a productive year for SEYI to say the least, and he is ready to set up 2016 as another one as he continues to build a local buzz for himself. In the past few months, SEYI has released his first music video for his dreamer friendly song “Wanna Be”, had his first headline gig at Revolution in Amityville, and was even featured on Farmingdale State College’s homepage and the SUNY blog which is connected to all 64 state universities in New York.
Now SEYI is adding another mark to his 2015 checklist, not only by performing at Amityville Music Hall for the first time, but also for being the headliner for the night’s festivities. The show also features local artist such as Fonz P, Poetik, Nutty Nilz, Jucaro, and Tom Adams. He will be doing his usual crowd favorites along with unheard material from his anticipated project N>I>B. Local talented and rising DJ Christina will be spinning the SEYI’s set along with a set of her own.
With the holiday spirt among us, SEYI is in the generous mood and is giving the first 25 buyers of physical tickets an exclusive song , shout out on his snapchat(ojmamba) and the cover artwork to N>I>B. Really a great deal for $10 bucks.
December 17th is when this all goes down. Hit up either SEYI or DJ Christina on twitter to get a ticket for what WILL BE a dope NY hip-hop show.

[Far Rockaway] I’ve previously featured SEYI single track WANNA BE and Seyi is ready to premiere his visual for it. One thing SEYI is able to main his coolness with his flow over Mr. Marx calm production. WANNA BE is actually SEYI’s first music video. SEYI explains the term for WANNA BE
If you’re feeling SEYI’s music follow his movement by following him on INSTAGRAM and take a selfie with your 3 fingers making a “w”, the “W” Stands for WANNA BE. The music video was shot and filmed in Soho NY and Brooklyn. Be on the lookout for SEYI’s track listing and artwork for his upcoming mixtape N>I>B (No In Between) by following him on his social media links below:
After a couple years of hard work and grinding, it seems that that this fall will be when SEYI starts to see it paying off. SEYI will be performing his first closing set gig at Revolution in Amityville, NY. He will be closing out a showcase that features other local acts such as S.O.E, AMI THA GOD, IDEAL, RAGE CREATION, JOSIE MCSWANE, PROPHET, and local music fixture JJ Jones who is also hosting the event. Seyi definitely has has the momentum on his side, performing in front of a packed house at the Main Event in the Farmingdale, Sippin Tea approaching 1,000 plays on soundcloud, and an anticipated visual for his song Wanna Be (both have been featured on NikkiSiixx). SEYI hopes to make October 1st his coming out party. This is a show you don’t want to miss so if you are in the NY area hit up SEYI on twitter for tickets.
[FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK] Inspiring Hip-Hop artist SEYI brings us his latest track called SIPPIN TEA. The track also features fellow Farmingdale State College Student Matt Patick. SIPPIN TEA will be on SEYI next mixtape N>I>B. This track fits well with that summer time, all around good vibes. SIPPIN TEA is a popular reference of Kermit the Frog’s MEME of him sipping tea and looking in the other direction. It says But That’s None Of My Own Business. I feel that inspired the title to this song and also the attitude. SEYI see’s that if you’re not putting in work, his going to work even harder. Sweet beat produced by Amir S, all the way from Canada. Be on the look out for SEYI’s upcoming mixtape N>I>B and don’t forget to follow him on TWITTER.
In Far Rockaway, you’ll find an inspiring hip-hop artist SEYI. Besides being a student at Farmingdale State College working on getting his pro-communications degree and is a host of his very own radio show on Ramnationradio.com or through mobile on the “tune in” app. SEYI is an active member of his fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon. You would think he would have to much on his plate. But with good scheduling and understanding of his priorities, he still focus’ on his music. He’s been able to perform at Revolution and at Empirium (Long Islands Biggest Party). Currently SEYI is working on his second mixtape, which will be “N.I.B No In Between“. Releasing his single WANNA BE from his upcoming project. WANNA BE sets the tone right. SEYI keeps his flow and lyrics over Mr. Marx production calm, cool, and collect.
Honestly I believe what makes me different is the story I am telling and the perspective that I speak from because I feel that I’m expressing thoughts and emotions that aren’t heard often in hip-hop. – SEYI
Stayed tuned for N.I.B and anything else going on for SEYI! Tune in on Thursdays for his Used Too Thursdays show. Playing you’re favorite throwbacks.
