Freestyle Friday: Ode Tha Hustla – Poppin

Screen Shot 2015-09-25 at 12.41.41 PM[DMV – DC AREA] Ode Tha Hustla goes on his take of POPPIN by Rico Richie and created his own freestyle to it. Ode Tha Hustla embodies the trap lifestyle by presenting the people hating on him cause they don’t got their money situations taken care of and the means of how he earns his money. Throughout the visual you see Ode Tha Hustla counting money, smoking blunts, performing on stage at what looks like Block Party, and seating in the passenger side of a convertible. POPPIN FREESTYLE was shot and edited by the visual Powerhouse @Muhammad_flylee. It was impossible for Ode Tha Hustla to pass on this beat because of how dope it sounded. With Rico Richie’s track he goes in how you need haters to know you’re doing something right. I feel Ode’s is more catchy than Rico’s. Currently, Ode Tha Hustla is working on his mixtape Sellin Dreams which is set to release the first quarter next year (2016). But in the meantime, he set to release his original single title MO MONEY. [LINKS] TWITTER || INSTAGRAM || SOUNDCLOUD ||

Music Video: Beyay – Rollin On

IMG_2848[MIAMI, FLORIDA] Beyay is an upcoming hip-hop artist, releases his visual for ROLLIN ON. I really like how the video was shot, very cinematic. I really like how the purple hues resemble the essence of the night. What will Beyay get himself into, from studio sessions to smoking out with a dope chick. Beyay is able to portray his views on his daily life. ROLLIN ON demonstrates the cliches of temptations such as women and smoking that good good. The visual was shot and directed by Jahrue. ROLLIN ON is also the first single off Beyay upcoming 100 Proof Mixtape.

Music Video: Ms.D’z – Flight 69

FullSizeRender-3Check out the latest visual from Baltimore Maryland female emcee Ms.D’z with FLIGHT 69. Ms.D’z takes us through an encounter she had with another woman and how she wants to take flight with her. As you can see in the visual a woman’s silhouette behind her. Ms.D’z has completely reinvented her brand and image by publicly coming out about her sexuality in her music and standing out with her many tattoos and piercings. Even though she makes her sexuality clear through her music, the men can’t help but listen because they either agree with what she’s saying or because they are fascinated by her whole demeanor. The music video is directed by Gearie “The Grench” Bowman and the insane production by Real Talk Beats. Love how the video was shot in Black and White, really gives the visual a dramatic scene. I like Ms. D’z flow and her charisma. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for her future releases! And don’t forget to watch FLIGHT 69 and Follow Ms. D’z social media accounts to get updated!
