Baltimore’s Tate Kobang is on a roll this year. After starting 2016 releasing “Oh My” as the follow up to his 2015 smash “Bankrolls” he went on to multiple successful sets at various SXSW showcases. Now he’s back with his latest visual featuring Aaron LaCrate for “Ain’t A Damn Thing Change”. Tate skated skated over the trip 808 heavy production in his normal fashion. The video has a slightly eerie feel that matches the feel of the production. Check it out below.
Miami’s own YD, also known as the Overtown Ambassador, took on the B.G. (of the Hot Boys) classic “Cash Money Is An Army” on his latest video release. He kept his verse true to his Miami roots with lyrics like “I done it all, I sold weed I sold hard/ Got my ‘drobe from them Burdines babies, fuck the mall/”.
As he’s breezing through the verse you see him in the streets of overtown connecting with his neighbors. YD shows how witty he can be with quotables like “just got a block I’m bout to break it down to Marshall Faulks”. This is a great way to hold the fans attention while he’s currently working on Murder In Miami & Overtown Ambassador 3. Check out the video below and look for what he has coming next.

On Halloween Deadpool is trying to reconnect with the X-Men, but he comes along a full group of kids dressed up as the entire team. Characters like Storm, Cyclops, Magneto, Beasts, Mystic, and Wolverine. Deadpool’s harsh, vulgar criticism of his new team is just hilarious. This is great! I actually watched this video couple of times. That’s one hell of a Deadpool outfit, you can see all the details on it. Ryan Reynolds has brought the true character of Deadpool to life. What a great way to promote Deadpool’s official movie which is set to release on February 12th 2016! Another epic thing was the kids response to everything Deadpool was saying. They were even messing with him too! Saying he must be drunk, they wish his mouth was still sown shut, and talking about their super powers.

We got the Ladies of Rap bringing us an epic rap battle between Batman villains Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Catwoman, featuring Brock Baker, Olga Kay, and Ryan Reyes. GOTHAM SIRENS video and song was inspired by the woman villains of DC Comics Batman. The other day we featured Castanet Creative Straight Outta Gotham. The Ladies definitely showed their skills on how they can rap and how clever they are to input the storylines of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. At the beginning of the video a guy gets his money stolen from him when the characters of the comic book come to life and inspired him to get a backbone. Getting a Joker Facial by Harley Quinn, Getting a Poison Kissed By Poison Ivy, and playing dress up with Catwoman.
Wanted to share with you a skit from Saturday Night Live featuring Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Taran Killam), Bruce Banner (Pete Davidson), Nick Fury (Jay Pharaoh) and Captain America (Beck Bennett). THE AVENGERS are being interviewed after defeating Ultron on live TV. I just love the overall excitement from Thor, hilarious. This was a great laugh! Love this skit. Here some of my favorite screenshots from the video:
Nikkisiixxers!!! I’m back with a track that’ll make you smack your spouse! You guys know how much I appreciate music of all genres and sub-genres but I have a weakness for conscious Hip-Hop…and this record left me hella’ weak.
Philadelphia’s Benni Basil, Ladies and Gentlemen, brings to us his “Stop Signs” record complete with multi end rhymes, substance and (most importantly) BARS! Although the song’s concept and message has definitely been used before by many, it’s a message that never gets old. We should all want more quality out of the music we listen to and Benni Basil makes it abundantly clear that he shares this sentiment. “Get your content up” he says to his fellow artists. As if frustrated by the swift and inevitable rise of the talentless Basil relentlessly exposes “wack” rappers and their “Yes Men”.
Everything about this release is excellent. The beat, produced by Twizz Matic, complimented the content well and the visuals were on point. WMB Filmz captured the essence of “Stop Signs” with something not over the top but urban, appropriately simplistic and to the point. With all that was done well with this record, Basil made sure that your attention never swayed from his verses, hooks, flow and delivery.
Basil delivers heat with such smoothness that I couldn’t believe it wasn’t butter.
With verses delivered so effortlessly, a message that inspires and a beat that makes your head nod, you can’t just live life without giving this record a listen. So take a listen folks and you’re welcome!
“It’s a prison and we livin’ with so many agents.
If you in it when you visit you thrown in the matrix.
What you think is really aint’ actual.
Dumbed down…made to believe that it’s factual.”
